Hypertech's Max Energy Power Programmer provide a set of high-tech functions that give vehicle owners many different ways to increase torque and horsepower while maintaining or even improving gas mileage depending on the application. By modifying your car or trucks internal spark and fuel curves the Max Energy programmer makes the best use of the provided fuel and delivers smile educing power gains on the street, at the track, when towing, and off-road. 

Turbo, supercharged, or high-compression engines that use premium fuel will have one tuning option available for premium octane, while vehicles using regular or premium will have two tuning setups to choose from for each fuel type. Most diesel engines will have 3 different tuning options that generate more power while keeping exhaust gas temperatures low while regulating safe transmission shifting that does not require de-fueling. 

Available functions include the above mentioned power tuning, speedometer calibration for over-sized or under-sized tires and gear ratio changes, modification of the top speed and rev limiters, shift firmness and shift point adjustment on automatic transmissions, cooling fan "on/off" temperature adjustments, the ability to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTC), and is completely internet updateable through Hypertech's website for the latest software advancements. Other features include Hypertech's 0-60 throttle restriction tunes, and special tuning for GM vehicles equipped with the Active Fuel Management system.
